Our 15 stand-alone fully self-contained cottages can accommodate a maximum of 8 people per cottage. They provide the perfect setting for all occasions… romantic getaways, weddings, honeymoons, reunions, family holidays or conferences with a difference.

3 Bedroom Cottage These are luxurious, self-contained accommodations that sleeps up to 6 guests in flexible bedding configurations. TV, DVD player, music system, outdoor furniture and private balcony.

4 Bedroom Cottage Plenty of space, privacy and luxury. Sleeps up to 8 guests with all mod-cons including dishwasher, microwave and a fully equipped kitchen, private balcony and outdoor furniture.

DESTINATION/ACTIVITES

Russell is an historic village with an island-like quality and quaint charm. Visitors from around New Zealand and all over the world come for its history, beaches, walks, boating and annual events.

Paihia is just a short ferry ride across the harbour and is the starting point of the many excursions and attractions the area has to offer.

Things to do:

  • Visit Waitangi, New Zealand’s most historic site where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840
  • Cruise to Cape Brett and the Hole in the Rock
  • Swim with dolphins
  • Adventure water sports – speed boat tours, jet skiing, parasailing, kite surfing and sea kayaking
  • Sport fishing in the Bay of Islands which holds many New Zealand and world records
  • Golf at Waitangi, Kauri Cliffs, Keri Keri or Carrington
  • Visit Kerikeri, one of New Zealand’s earliest settlements – home to The Stone Store and Kemp House, New Zealand’s oldest buildings

The Russell Cottages are fully self-contained for cooking, dining and entertaining in your own private space.

Within a short walk are cafes and restaurants along Russell’s quaint streets and water front. Or take the ferry ten minutes across to Paihia for a large range of dining options.

CONFERENCES/EVENTS

Russell is a fantastic destination for conferences, meetings, events and weddings. With all of leisure activities and attractions available you will not be short of team building or relaxation options.

Your group can stay in our luxury cottages and dine alfresco utilising our barbecue and pool area. The Russell Room is ideally suited to groups of up to 18 for boardroom style meetings or small conferences.

We can host small weddings for up to 40 people in an intimate poolside ceremony with champagne and hors d'oeuvres.
