Blackstone Services

The Blackstone Hospitality Group is a New Zealand-owned company specializing in management services for hotel, serviced apartments, motel and other travellers' accommodation. As a member of the New Zealand Hotel Council we are in touch with the industry leaders across New Zealand. We have access to the lastest New Zealand accommodation trends & international travel patterns.

 

We possess skill sets across all areas of Hotel operations, Sales and marketing and strategic performance.

Blackstone Group GM holds a General Manager Certificate ( ability to sell liquor )

Work alongside development team ensuring all in place for building WOF etc

SA consent must be in place plus all appropriate emergency services sign off.

 

Contracts for services eg - laundry, telecoms, internet

Research the local suppliers

Blackstone has relationships in place with national suplliers for linen

Utillity options would be evaluated based on cost / support and service offered.

Tap into Blackstone agreements including service agreements reflecting 5 star product.

Ensure latest technology in place for all guests/ customers/ operators including the expectations of international convention groups. Eg - Must be WIFI throughout.

 

Procure supply agreements wet & dry goods

Determine outlets needs? Restaurants / gyms/ & local resource available.

Tender process ensuring agreements fit with specific Hotel Brand standards for all goods.

Blackstone have relationship in place with cleaning and in room supplies

 

Establish rates in conjunction with brands

 

Rates must fit the destination & current climate. Be wary of recession & impact on NZ Hotel rates.

Rates must fit with long term strategy of property?

Must hit market with " Hot opening offer " allowing people to experience.

Blackstone Group

The core team at Blackstone is comprised of General Manager, Bradley Burnett, Operations Manager, Rebecca Liddle and Property Managers Polina Pyjova and Ada De Camasca.

Bradley Burnett heads up the Blackstone group. His extensive hotel industry experience in the UK and New Zealand has included Revenue and operational management roles with the Westin Auckland, the SKYCITY Grand, SKYCITY Hotel and the Heritage Hotel group. He has held a variety of positions with a number of UK hotel businesses including the DeVere Group and Cavendish St James in London. Bradley helped drive successful launches for the Westin Auckland and the SKYCITY Grand Hotel.

Bradley is able to provide solutions for all accomodation offerings including pre opening and opening, sales & marketing, revenue/ yield management and of course operations management.

Rebecca Liddle was a key part of the SKYCITY Grand Hotel in Auckland. Prior to joining Chifley Suites Auckland she managed Guest Services for the Grand. Her hospitality career spans nearly ten years in Scotland and New Zealand including four years with the Thistle Hotel Group UK. Rebecca is an operational expert and an exceptional manager of people. She continues to deliver an excellent service to all guests at Chifley Suites Auckland as well as supporting & assisting other Blackstone properties & projects.

Rebecca currently manages an operations team including Reservations, Guest Services and housekeeping

Polina Pyjova is the Blackstone Property Manager responsible for a growing residential, retail & commercial portfolio. Having recently joined Blackstone Polina has a wealth of experience in the property management sector as well as sales and office administration,  Polinas focus is on maximising returns to owners of commercial and residential properties.

Ada De Camasca is Blackstone Property Manager she has a strong background in Sales and Management and an enthusiasm for interacting with people, Ada has many years of experience in management and was The Principal Officer of real estate companies in New Zealand and Australia, including four years as a Principal Officer with the Go Gecko Group. Ada is highly regarded by landlords and tenants alike for her attention to detail, and negotiating and communication skills. Ada’s management experience and knowledge is a great asset to our business as we continue to grow our roll as well as to introduce new systems in our pursuit to provide the finest property management service in the region.
